"And when they shall have received this, which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the greater things be made manifest unto them."
Mormon gave only a fraction
of Christ's teachings to the Gentiles. As one shows their faith, those
teachings become clearer. There are, however, many more mysterious of God that
can be discovered. The "greater things" are not learned immediately
but God knows when we are adequately prepared. It's important to note though,
God has already revealed everything one needs to obtain salvation and eternal
life.
